Contrary to the delicious rumours flying around the company last week I was not having a “family” crisis on Thursday and Friday…….I was just trying to make sure that everything possible was being done at the warehouse to avoid accidents and I couldn’t cope with distractions. …..and it turned out that the mystery and oddly anti-social daughter visiting the Chiswick Futon Company store wasn’t, in fact, my daughter.
It didn’t make any sense that a daughter would just run in and pinch an Oak bedside table …she’s already got two at home and another two in her studio flat.
